Spread the Word

“If only I’d known about this sooner, I wouldn’t have given up my farm, I would have transitioned it with your support.”

We hear this just as often as we hear people working in agriculture express their relief at discovering that they can create meaningful change while staying within farming.

Many people in agriculture simply don’t know that there’s another way. They don’t know that they can build a financially viable livelihood without exploiting animals, that this can be the end of their inner conflict, and that support is available to help them.

And this is where you come in, because through your conversations, those people learn about the possibilities of TransFARMation in the first place.

Flagship Projects

Only a few of the farms are working with sponsorships, but these farms need your support. The reason they rely on sponsorships is that the time and energy they invest in educational work are not covered by direct payments or other public funding. Sponsorships, much like membership fees for associations, are therefore a wonderful way to support this important work.

Animal sanctuaries show who these animals are, why they should have more rights, and how agriculture can work differently. They are places that don’t simply complain what’s going wrong, they demonstrate how things can be done differently and reveal who is most affected by conventional farming. To do this, they organise events, guided tours, opportunities for people to meet the animals, and educational workshops, while caring every day for the animals who are the most important teachers of their cause. Support our TransFARMation work

Transitions can involve significant costs in the first few years, as they often involve restructuring infrastructure or opening up new markets. We can provide so-called transitional financing directly through the NEB Tierschutzstiftung (Animal Welfare Foundation), the Hof Narr association, or through individuals or companies that would like to support this work.

This gives your company or you the opportunity to make the TransFARMation of a farm a reality by covering part or all of such a transitional contribution. We’d be happy to discuss the terms and options with you. Please send us a message if you’d like to support us financially.

Paving the Way for the Economy

Do you have a business, or are you planning to start one, that could help support farmers in the way they operate their businesses?

Can you make use of raw materials grown in Switzerland? Would you like to expand or outsource parts of your value chain, increase production capacity externally, or do you need additional storage facilities?
